While enjoying your Labor Day weekend consider taking a few pictures of your family’s shoes…yes, shoes! I am working on a series of commissioned paintings called Family Soles where I create original watercolor paintings from client photographs of their shoes. By capturing your family soles in a painting you are also saving a moment in time, a moment that you may currently see on a daily basis, but that as life goes on, will eventually disappear. One of my clients even requested I update her family soles painting when a new grandchild was born. There are so many possibilities.
